NinjaOne is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a growing software development team responsible for our SaaS IT Operations suite. You will guide feature delivery, drive architecture decisions, and collaborate with product management and platform engineering to propel our product roadmap.

You will mentor engineers and help shape the technical culture. Located in the United States with remote flexibility for candidates in US states, you will manage a distributed team, own engineering growth,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT or related field.
• 10+ years of software development in distributed client-server architectures.
• 3+ years of software engineering management experience.
• Expertise in software design/architecture incl. CI/CD, modern web UI, caching, key-value stores, API development, code quality.
• Experience with security best practices.
• Track record of refactoring and critical thinking about systems.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback on design decisions.
• Ability to mentor and develop engineers.
• Experience leading remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Technology Leadership—provide full-stack software development expertise and set direction.
• Team Leadership—grow distributed UI and server teams and mentor members.
• Engineering Operations—identify gaps, improve processes, ensure SDLC practices.
• Collaborate with PMs, platform/architects to align on product vision and delivery.
• Other duties as needed.
