Job summary

NinjaOne is seeking an Software Engineering Manager to guide and grow our development team, owning the core NinjaOne IT Operations suite. You will collaborate with product, platform engineering, and other teams to deliver scalable cloud services for millions of endpoints.

You will lead distributed, remote teams, mentor engineers, and drive architecture, CI/CD, and security best practices across UI and server components. This full-time role offers strong benefits and a flexible remote work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
• 10+ years of cumulative software development experience in distributed client-server architectures.
• 3+ years of direct software engineering management experience.
• Expertise in software design and architecture, CI/CD, modern web UI, caching, databases, API development, and code quality.
• Experience with security best practices in software development.
• Proven leadership in refactoring and improving systems; able to mentor and give feedback.

Responsibilities

• Technology leadership providing full stack software development expertise for the team.
• Lead and grow distributed, remote UI and Server development teams across products.
• Identify gaps, improve team operations, and align with product managers and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with PMs and owners to define requirements and project vision.
