Job summary

NinjaOne is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a growing team building the NinjaOne IT Operations Platform. You will guide product delivery, foster engineering growth, and own architectural decisions across the stack in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

You will manage remote UI and server engineers, collaborate with product management and platform teams, ensure best practices, security, and scalable design, and mentor developers to ship reliable features for thousands of customers

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development in distributed client-server architecture.
• 3+ years of direct software engineering management.
• Hands-on with modern web UI, API development and caching systems.
• Experience with security best practices.
• Leader in refactoring and system improvement; comfortable with critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-stack technical leadership and code review guidance.
• Lead and grow distributed UI and server teams across products.
• Collaborate with PMs, platform engineering, and stakeholders to define vision.
• Identify gaps and improve development and operational processes.
• Hands-on contribution when needed.
