Job summary

Omada Health, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer II for the Solutions Engineering team. This remote role in the USA focuses on understanding customer challenges, designing tailored technical solutions using Omada’s products, and demonstrating value and feasibility.

You’ll collaborate with commercial, product, and engineering stakeholders to automate workflows, build integrations, and accelerate delivery with AI-assisted development, while growing your craft alongside senior engineers.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years writing readable, tested production code.
• Strong Rails experience or proven backend proficiency in another language.
• Experience with PostgreSQL is required.
• Experience building and consuming APIs and integrations across service boundaries.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development in day-to-day work and quality-conscious judgment.
• Experience with workflow-automation platforms (e.g., Tines, n8n).
• Track record of shipping measurable improvements to well-defined problems.
• Solid debugging and optimization skills.
• Strong grasp of SDLC processes and frameworks.
• Comfort ramping onto unfamiliar codebases with support.

Responsibilities

• Build, extend, and maintain automation tooling to reduce toil and ship features.
• Investigate root causes and participate in post-incident analyses.
• Reuse templates, standards, and automation rather than one-off customizations.
• Leverage AI-assisted development to move faster and deliver solutions.
• Grow proficiency by pairing with senior engineers across the stack.
• Participate in on-call rotation and triage issues to support teams.
