Job summary

Omada Health, Inc. seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and scale a cloud-native Data & AI platform. You will craft reusable services and workflows to support analytics, data science, and Generative AI use cases with strong data governance and security.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable reliable, cost-efficient platform delivery and improve developer productivity through AI-powered tooling and self-service data access.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software or data engineering on scalable platforms.
• Experience with data lakes/lakehouses and analytics storage.
• Strong Python and SQL production experience.
• Experience with cloud-native tech and IaC tools like Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable Data & AI platform capabilities for analytics and Generative AI use cases with data quality, lineage, observability, security, and governance.
• Develop reusable abstractions, templates, services, and workflows that standardize data pipelines and data products.
• Collaborate with Analytics, Applied-AI, Data-engineering and application teams to deliver platform capabilities.
• Evaluate and integrate modern data and AI technologies focusing on scalability, reliability, developer experience, and cost efficiency.
• Apply Generative AI to improve data enablement, documentation, discovery, workflow automation, and platform usability.
• Promote software engineering best practices, including clean code, testing, CI/CD, and secure data handling.
