Job summary

Omada Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Solutions Engineering team. This remote role in the USA focuses on cross-system integrations and designing tailored technical solutions using Omada's platforms.

You will mentor teammates, collaborate with commercial, product, and engineering stakeholders, and drive technical decisions while navigating ambiguity and security considerations.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years writing readable, tested, and efficient production code.
• Strong Rails experience desired; open to other languages with Rails ramp-up.
• Experience with a relational database (PostgreSQL).
• Experience building and consuming APIs and integrations across service boundaries.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development and when it helps or not.

Responsibilities

• Shape complex, cross-system integrations and design multi-system solutions.
• Define reusable templates, standards, and automation to scale the team.
• Identify root causes and drive durable fixes and follow-up actions.
• Mentor engineers and non-engineers, providing coding guidance.
• Partner with stakeholders to scope solutions within real-time constraints.
• Judge trade-offs and deliverables with cross-functional teams.
• Surface risks, edge cases, and security concerns in discovery and runbooks.
• Participate in on-call rotation and assist with investigations.
