Omada Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Solutions Engineering Team. This remote-friendly role across the USA focuses on designing tailored technical solutions, building cross-system integrations, and delivering measurable value for customers.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years writing readable, tested, and efficient production code.
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails; exceptional backend engineers welcome if able to ramp quickly on Rails.
• Experience with a relational database (PostgreSQL).
• Experience building and consuming APIs and integrations across service boundaries.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development and thoughtful use of AI tools.
• Experience building API-driven automation workflows (e.g., with Tines, n8n).
• Track record of identifying inefficiencies and shipping value-driven solutions.
• Solid debugging and optimization skills.
• Strong grasp of SDLC processes and frameworks.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with non-engineering stakeholders.
• Experience in solutions engineering, implementation, or customer-facing technical capacity.
• Experience mentoring engineers or leading projects.

Responsibilities

• Shape complex, cross-system integrations and early-stage high-complexity work.
• Define reusable templates, standards, and automation across teams.
• Identify root causes and drive durable fixes beyond quick workarounds.
• Mentor engineers and non-engineers, providing coding guidance.
• Partner with stakeholders to scope solutions within real timeframes and constraints.
• Surface risks, edge cases, and security concerns during discovery.
• Participate in on-call rotation and triage issues to support teams.
