Job summary

Kiva is seeking a Social Media Associate to amplify its mission across Instagram and Facebook, with potential channel expansion. You’ll help plan, schedule, and optimize content, collaborating with teams to ensure a cohesive digital presence in a remote US-based role.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years’ social media management experience, hands-on use of Sprout Social and Canva, and strong written communication. This is a work-from-home position with a strong nonprofit focus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing social media publishing and community engagement.
• Demonstrated experience managing social media for established brands (nonprofit or corporate).
• Experience with Sprout Social or similar platforms.
• Experience with Canva and implementing brand guidelines into designs.
• Clear, professional written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define strategy for social profiles and establish posting cadence.
• Plan, pitch, and manage content design and copy for organic channels.
• Build organic strategy for expanding to new channels with cross-team collaboration.
• Coordinate content with Creative and Communications teams and manage content schedules.
• Publish and maintain calendar, track performance, and adapt to platform changes.
