Job summary

Kiva, a nonprofit lender network, is seeking a Social Media Associate to amplify its mission across Instagram, Facebook, and emerging channels. You’ll own day-to-day content planning, scheduling, and posting, collaborating with the Creative and Communications teams to keep our voice consistent and engaging.

You’ll analyze performance, adjust strategy, and support influencer partnerships while ensuring timely responses to comments and DMs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing social media publishing and community engagement.
• Demonstrated experience in social media management for established brands (nonprofit or corporate).
• Experience with Sprout Social or similar social management platforms.
• Experience with Canva and implementing brand guidelines into designs.
• Clear, professional written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Strategy and Content Management – develop and manage content for organic social channels, coordinating with teams to source assets and schedule posts.
• Social Publishing & Scheduling – administer Sprout Social, maintain a detailed content calendar, and ensure timely publishing.
• Community Monitoring & Engagement – respond to inquiries, engage with audiences, and escalate as needed.
• Performance Reporting – compile monthly reports and share insights to guide content planning.
