Job summary

Kiva, a global nonprofit, is seeking a Social Media Associate to amplify its mission across Instagram and Facebook, with potential to expand to YouTube, Pinterest, and TikTok. You will plan, create, and schedule content, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and brand voice.

You'll work with Growth and Lifecycle and Creative teams, manage publishing calendars, monitor performance, and engage with communities. A remote, US-based position offering a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing social media publishing and community engagement
• Experience with social media management for established brands (nonprofit or corporate)
• Experience with Sprout Social or similar social management platforms
• Experience with Canva and with implementing brand guidelines into designs
• Clear, professional written communication skills
• A work-from-home position

Responsibilities

• Strategy and Content Management: define strategy and scheduling cadence for social profiles.
• Social Publishing & Scheduling: manage Sprout calendar, post scheduling, trend tracking, reporting.
• Community Monitoring & Engagement: respond to inquiries and engage with audience.
• Performance Reporting: compile monthly platform insights for Growth & Lifecycle team.
• Campaign participation: support Giving Tuesday and donation drives with channel-aligned content.
