Job summary

Kiva is seeking a Social Media Associate to amplify our mission through strategic content across Instagram and Facebook and potential other channels. You will partner with the Growth & Lifecycle team to plan, schedule, and optimize posts while staying on brand and driving engagement.

In this remote US role, you will monitor performance, adapt strategies to platform changes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize impact and storytelling across digital channels.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing social media publishing and community engagement.
• Demonstrated experience managing social media for established brands (nonprofit or corporate).
• Experience with Sprout Social or similar social management platforms.
• Experience with Canva and implementing brand guidelines into designs.
• Strong attention to detail and operational consistency.
• Clear, professional written communication skills.
• Ability to triage and elevate issues appropriately.
• Comfortable working independently within a defined scope.

Responsibilities

• Define social media strategy and ensure compliance with best practices across profiles.
• Support influencer relationships and deepen partnerships with paid campaigns.
• Coordinate content creation and scheduling across organic and paid social.
• Plan and manage design and copywriting for new content on organic channels.
• Expand to new channels to support growth and lifecycle goals.
• Collaborate with Creative, Communications, and Growth teams to source assets and plan schedules.
