Job summary

Kiva is seeking a Social Media Associate to amplify our mission across Instagram, Facebook, and beyond. You will develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy, manage day-to-day content planning and scheduling, and work with the Creative team to produce engaging, on-brand posts.

You will optimize channel performance using data, report monthly results, and help expand to new platforms while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years managing social media publishing and community engagement.
• Experience with Sprout Social or similar social management platforms.
• Experience with Canva and implementing brand guidelines into designs.
• Strong attention to detail and operational consistency.
• Clear, professional written communication skills.
• Ability to triage and elevate issues appropriately.
• Comfortable working independently within a defined scope.

Responsibilities

• Define strategy for social profiles and scheduling cadence.
• Coordinate content creation across organic social channels.
• Publish and schedule posts using Sprout Social; ensure tagging and alt text.
• Monitor comments and DMs; engage with audience as per guidelines.
• Compile monthly performance reports and share insights with the team.
• Collaborate with Creative and Communications teams to source assets and align content.
