Alignerr Corp. is seeking a seasoned SOC Manager to independently assess the operational readiness of security operations centers. You will review detection logic, response workflows, playbooks, and incident lifecycles to surface what works and what needs improvement.

This fully remote contract role requires critical analysis, structured evaluation, and a focus on delivering clear, actionable findings for ongoing security operations programs.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SOC operations experience.
• Proven incident lifecycle management ability.
• Strong written communication and reporting skills.

Responsabilités

• Review detection alerts, triage workflows, and escalation paths for logic and coverage.
• Evaluate incident response actions across real or simulated cases.
• Identify gaps in logging, detection coverage, and containment logic.
• Validate playbooks for clarity and real-world feasibility.
• Summarize incident patterns and systemic weaknesses in structured reports.
• Support SOC maturity assessments and ongoing readiness.
