Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or related field.
• 1–3 years in a SOC or security monitoring role.
• Familiar with SIEM tools and security technologies.
• Understanding of network protocols and operating systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; remote collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor SIEM dashboards and security alerts for suspicious activity.
• Analyze security incidents and identify threats and vulnerabilities.
• Respond to alerts including investigation, containment, and eradication.
• Perform log analysis and correlation to investigate breaches.
• Document incidents and actions clearly and promptly.
• Collaborate with security teams and IT staff to resolve issues.
• Stay updated on threat intelligence and trends.
• Contribute to SOC procedures and playbooks.
• Participate in threat hunting to identify risks.
• Escalate critical incidents to senior staff as needed.
