Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking a Security Operations Analyst (AI Training) for a remote hourly contract. You will work on simulated security incidents to shape how AI detects and responds to threats, drawing on hands-on SOC experience to guide training data and evaluation.

The role focuses on incident triage, alert classification, and ethical evaluation of AI-generated outputs. Independent, asynchronous work is common, with 10–40 hours per week and no onsite requirement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in a SOC, incident response, or security operations.
• Hands-on experience triaging alerts and investigating security events.

Responsibilities

• Analyze real-world incident and alert scenarios to determine impact.
• Classify severity, root causes, and recommended responses.
• Review detection logic and workflows for accuracy.
• Evaluate AI outputs to reflect analyst practices.
• Identify true signals vs. false positives across simulations.
• Provide feedback to help AI systems think like analysts.
