Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Security Operations Analyst (AI Training) for a remote hourly contract. You will apply hands-on SOC experience to analyze incidents, classify alerts, and refine detection logic to improve AI-driven security outputs. Your feedback will help shape how AI reasons about threats and responses.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on SOC/IR/security operations experience.
• Familiarity with SIEM platforms and alert triage.
• Ability to distinguish true positives from noise.
• Detail-oriented with structured written communication.
• Self-motivated to work independently on tasks.

Responsibilities

• Analyze SOC incident and alert scenarios to determine what is happening and how it should be handled.
• Classify alert severity, identify root causes, and recommend actions.
• Review detection logic, triage workflows, and investigation procedures.
• Validate AI-generated security outputs to reflect analyst practices.
• Provide structured feedback to improve AI reasoning in security contexts.
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
