Job summary

Yelp is seeking a Sales Manager for SMB Outbound Sales to lead a 10–15 person Inside Sales team in a remote, U.S.-based role focused on selling Yelp's advertising solutions to SMBs across the country. The manager will drive outbound activity, coach reps, and optimize conversions to beat monthly revenue targets.

The role demands a strong coaching background, quota achievement, and a data-driven approach, with a preference for candidates in the East or Midwest region.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience developing and managing inside sales teams.
• Proven success leading teams in a cold calling environment with high activity and quota achievement.
• Experience selling digital products to SMBs.
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
• Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze performance metrics and implement actionable improvements.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
• Have earned a Bachelor's degree OR 3+ years of customer-facing experience and hold a HS Diploma or GED.
• Access to a dedicated, high-speed internet connection at workspace.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support a team of 10-15 Account Executives in a high-volume outbound environment.
• Drive daily outbound activity and ensure KPIs are met or exceeded.
• Provide hands-on coaching through call reviews, shadowing, and 1:1s to strengthen skills.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, high-performance team culture focused on accountability and growth.
• Facilitate team meetings, trainings, and performance check-ins to drive engagement and results.
• Analyze team performance metrics and implement strategies to improve conversions and revenue.
• Communicate Yelp's products, pricing, and policies to prospective clients clearly.
• Utilize internal tools to research, draft proposals, analyze data and overcome objections.
