Job summary

Yelp is seeking an Outbound Sales Manager to lead a team of Inside Sales Representatives focused on Yelp’s advertising solutions for SMBs across the U.S. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll coach, develop, and inspire your team to exceed sales goals through high-volume outbound calling and consultative selling.

You’ll drive performance, conduct 1:1s, and analyze metrics to improve close rates while ensuring accuracy of product and pricing communications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading inside sales teams in a high-volume outbound environment.
• Experience selling digital ads to SMBs.
• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years customer-facing experience; HS diploma acceptable with experience.
• Remote-ready with ability to lead and coach virtually.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support a team of 10–15 Account Executives in a high-volume outbound environment.
• Drive daily outbound activity and ensure KPIs are met or exceeded.
• Provide hands-on coaching through call reviews, shadowing, and 1:1s.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on accountability and growth.
• Facilitate team meetings, trainings, and performance check-ins to drive results.
• Analyze team performance metrics and implement strategies to improve conversion rates.
• Clearly communicate Yelp’s products, pricing, and policies to clients.
• Utilize internal tools to research, draft proposals, analyze data, and overcome objections.
