Job summary

Yelp is seeking a Sales Manager for SMB Outbound Sales in a remote-capable role, with preference for residents in the East or Midwest US time zones. You will lead a team of 10–15 Account Executives, coach through reviews, and drive outbound activity to hit KPIs and revenue targets.

You will shape a high-performance culture, coach for growth, and ensure accurate product/policy communication while leveraging Yelp tools to research and draft proposals.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience developing/managing inside sales teams in high-volume outbound environment.
• Experience selling digital products to SMBs and using Salesforce CRM.
• Proven success leading teams in a cold calling environment with quota focus.
• Strong coaching/mentoring skills and commitment to career growth.
• Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze performance metrics.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced remote-first environment.
• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of customer-facing experience with HS diploma/GED.
• Requires independent high-speed internet connection (no satellite).

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support a team of 10-15 Account Executives in outbound outbound environment.
• Drive daily outbound activity and ensure KPIs are met or exceeded.
• Provide hands-on coaching through call reviews, shadowing, and 1:1s to improve close rates.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, high-performance culture focused on accountability and growth.
• Run team meetings, trainings, and performance check-ins to drive engagement.
• Analyze team performance metrics and implement strategies to improve conversion and revenue.
• Communicate Yelp products, pricing, and policies clearly to clients.
• Use Chatbench to research, draft proposals, analyze data, and overcome objections.
