Job summary

Parallel is hiring three full-time Virtual Speech-Language Pathologists for a remote school-based assignment for the 2026-2027 year. Openings are immediately available; 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, serving middle and high school students.

Compensation starts at $52/hour as a 1099 opportunity with potential W-2 options based on licensure and district needs. Telehealth delivery, IEP collaboration, and Tennessee compact licensure support are included.

Qualifications

• Current ASHA CCC-SLP
• Active SLP license in TN, OH, WV, or LA
• Willingness to obtain TN ASLP-IC Compact Privilege if needed
• Must hold or be willing to obtain TN DOE credential
• 1 year of full-time school-based IEP-directed therapy experience; 2+ years preferred for case management

Responsibilities

• Provide IEP-aligned virtual speech therapy to middle and high school students.
• Conduct SLP assessments using Parallel Clinical Test Library and Report Writer.
• Lead IEP meetings and manage a caseload for Speech Only students.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and monitor IEPs.
• Track session data and progress; produce detailed progress reports.
• Deliver state-specific services including AAC support and SLPA supervision as needed.
