Job summary

Parallel is hiring 3 full-time Virtual Speech-Language Pathologists for a school-based teletherapy role for the 2026–2027 year. Fully remote, you’ll support middle and high school students with IEP-aligned therapy from across your state. 35 hours/week, 55 students per SLP, with a $500 sign-on bonus and onboarding stipend for fast onboarding.

Requirements include ASHA CCC-SLP, active TN/OH/WV/LA license, and TN DOE credential. Prior IEP experience preferred; Medicaid billing experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Must hold ASHA CCC-SLP and an active SLP license in TN/OH/WV/LA.
• Must be eligible for Tennessee ASLP-IC Compact Privilege.
• Minimum of 1 year of full-time school-based IEP-directed therapy experience.
• 2+ years of experience preferred for case management assignments.
• Proficient with virtual telehealth platforms and digital documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide student-centered, IEP-aligned virtual speech therapy to middle and high school students.
• Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments leveraging Parallel’s tools.
• Lead IEP meetings and provide case management for Speech Only students.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and monitor IEPs.
• Track session data and prepare goal-oriented progress reports.
• Deliver state-specific services including AAC support, screenings, and SLPA supervision as needed.
