Job summary

Parallel is actively hiring 3 full-time Virtual Speech-Language Pathologists for a school-based assignment for the 2026-2027 year. Roles are fully remote, serving middle and high school students with telehealth sessions and IEP-driven care.

Applicants must hold CCC-SLP, be licensed in TN/OH/WV/LA or eligible for the Tennessee Compact Privilege, and be able to obtain the TN DOE credential. Expect 35 hours/week with competitive compensation and potential W-2 options.

Qualifications

• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Active SLP license in TN, OH, WV, or LA (Out-of-state applicants must be eligible for and willing to obtain a Tennessee ASLP-IC Compact Privilege).
• Must hold or be willing to obtain a Tennessee Department of Education (TN DOE) credential.
• Minimum of 1 year of full-time school-based experience conducting IEP-directed therapy and evaluations (post-CFY). 2+ years of experience is preferred for case management assignments.
• Demonstrated expertise in the IEP process, educational eligibility determinations, and writing comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Tech-savvy with proficiency in virtual telehealth platforms and digital documentation.
• Availability for 35 hours per week during standard school hours (Monday - Friday).
• Preferred: Prior experience with Medicaid billing systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide student-centered, IEP-aligned virtual speech therapy sessions to middle and high school students.
• Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and evaluations leveraging Parallel’s proprietary Clinical Test Library and automated Report Writer.
• Lead IEP meetings and provide dedicated case management for "Speech Only" students.
• Partner with multidisciplinary school teams to design, monitor, and refine Individualized Education Programs.
• Systematically track session data and student progress, developing detailed, goal-oriented progress reports for each reporting cycle.
• Deliver specialized state-specific services, including AAC support, speech screenings, and SLPA supervision as needed.
