Job summary

Pond & Company seeks a Site Manager to lead fuels systems projects with remote work optional and travel required. Candidate will plan, coordinate, and monitor onsite activities, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Ideal applicants have 5+ years in wetted fueling systems, strong reading of drawings, and ability to obtain security clearance. Proactive client relations and mentoring skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in wetted fueling system – piping, mechanical work, fueling upgrades, fuel hydrant systems, tank work, coatings, inspections, and repairs.
• Knowledge of construction practices, UFGS, UFC, ASME codes, API, NA and/or international standards for POL systems.
• Ability to obtain or maintain a government security clearance or favorable BI.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings/specifications.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Effective communication, interpersonal and management skills.
• OSHA 30 hours training preferred
• HAZWOPER training preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, coordinate, monitor, and administer onsite work to complete projects on time, within budget, and to safety and quality standards.
• Develop strong client relationships to facilitate timely, profitable projects and repeat business.
• Mentor and develop subordinate staff.
• Review service orders, ensure health and safety and quality plans are followed.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, safety managers, and project coordinators to maintain schedules and budgets.
• Keep clients informed on high-priority issues and look-ahead scheduling.
