Job summary

Pond & Company is seeking Site Managers to join our fuels systems team. Roles may be performed remotely with travel, and applicants should reside in the United States, including West Virginia.

You will plan, organize, and oversee onsite work to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with our safety and quality standards. You will build strong client relationships to enable successful, profitable projects and repeat business, coordinate with subcontractors, track look-ahead

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in wetted fueling system - piping, mechanical work, fueling upgrades, hydrant systems, tank work, coatings, inspections, repairs.
• Knowledge of construction practices, UFGS, UFC, ASME codes, API, NA/international standards for POL systems.
• Ability to obtain or maintain a government security clearance or favorable BI.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• OSHA 30 hours training preferred.
• HAZWOPER training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors service orders and coordinates with Service Order Manager or other management.
• Engages in recurring maintenance activities and achieves goals.
• Reviews scopes of work and ensures health and safety and quality plans are developed and followed.
• Serves as direct support on service orders between Pond, subcontractors, Huntsville Corp of Engineers and Service Control Points.
• Coordinates with maintenance manager to adhere to schedules and budgets.
• Conducts weekly and bi-weekly meetings with subcontractors and PMs to plan actions and resolve issues.
• Keeps client informed on high-priority repairs and pending issues.
• Maintains 3-week look-ahead and participates in 2-week look-ahead meetings with Program Manager/Operations Manager.
