Job summary

Pond & Company is seeking Site Managers to join our fuels systems team. Positions may be worked remotely (with travel) with candidates living in CT, DE, ME, MD, MA, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VT, VA, WV, or Washington, D.C.

Site Managers oversee onsite work to complete projects on time and within budget, ensuring safety and quality standards, and building strong client relationships for repeat business.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience in wetted fueling system (piping, mechanical work, fueling upgrades, hydrant systems, tank work, coatings, inspections, repairs).
• Knowledge of construction practices, UFGS, UFC, ASME codes, API, NA and/or international standards related to POL system design, construction, inspection and repair.
• Ability to obtain or maintain a government security clearance or favorable BI.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Monitors the Maintenance & Repair System (Prime) for all service orders and coordinates with Service Order Manager or other management.
• Maintains active involvement in recurring maintenance activities and goals.
• Oversees service orders’ scopes of work, health and safety plans, and quality plans.
• Acts as direct support on service orders between Pond, subcontractors, Huntsville Corp of Engineers and Service Control Points.
• Coordinates with recurring maintenance manager to adhere to schedules and contract requirements.
• Monitors contract budget and assists in funding requests from the client.
• Conducts weekly meetings with subcontractors and bi-weekly meetings with HNC PM to discuss prep actions and issues.
• Ensures service orders are prioritized through each phase and delivered on time.
• Keeps client informed on status of high priority/high risk repairs and issues.
• Maintains 3-week and 2-week look-ahead schedules with Program Manager/Operations Manager.
