Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a ServiceNow Solution Architect to lead design, governance, and delivery of enterprise ServiceNow solutions across critical business operations and digital transformation initiatives. You will collaborate with stakeholders, architects, developers, and delivery teams to drive platform innovation.

The role requires deep ITSM expertise, hands-on development, and strong Agile leadership. Remote position in the United States with a focus on governance and enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a ServiceNow Solution Architect or Lead Technical Consultant.
• Deep expertise in ServiceNow ITSM modules: Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge Management, Service Catalog.
• Hands-on ServiceNow development: Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, Flow Designer, Workflows, ACLs, Notifications, Update Sets.
• Proven experience creating technical solution designs and presenting architecture recommendations to governance boards and senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies including demand management, backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, release management and deployments.
• Experience leading distributed technical teams and mentoring ServiceNow developers.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, governance, and delivery of enterprise ServiceNow solutions.
• Design scalable, secure ServiceNow solutions aligned with standards.
• Present solution designs and architectural decisions to governance boards.
• Manage change requests, deployment planning, release coordination, and production readiness.
• Perform hands-on ServiceNow development and provide technical leadership.
• Drive Agile delivery activities including backlog refinement and sprint planning.
