Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a ServiceNow Solution Architect to lead the design, governance, and delivery of enterprise ServiceNow solutions that support digital transformation.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to drive platform innovation, manage changes, and provide hands-on development while guiding the delivery on Agile cycles. This remote role is open to qualified applicants in the United States.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as ServiceNow Solution Architect or lead technical consultant.
• Deep expertise in ServiceNow ITSM including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge Management, Service Catalog, and related capabilities.
• Hands-on ServiceNow development with Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, Flow Designer, Workflows, ACLs, Notifications, Update Sets, and integrations.
• Proven ability to present technical designs and architecture recommendations to governance boards and senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies including demand management, backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, release management, and deployments.
• Experience leading distributed technical teams and mentoring ServiceNow developers.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly demand backlog meetings and prioritize initiatives with stakeholders.
• Design scalable, secure ServiceNow solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
• Present design decisions and recommendations through governance forums.
• Manage change requests, deployment planning, release coordination, and production readiness.
• Perform hands-on ServiceNow development and configuration while guiding the delivery team.
• Drive Agile delivery activities including backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, and deployments.
