Job summary

Alliant Insurance Services seeks a senior ServiceNow Architect to lead end-to-end platform implementations, partner with IT leadership and business stakeholders, and drive scalable, value-driven solutions across ITSM, CSM, HRSD, GRC and more.

You will guide design, governance, and delivery, coordinating internal and external teams, and mentoring staff while aligning with enterprise architecture and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer technology or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Eight or more years of ServiceNow Platform Expertise (CTA/CMA)
• Experience across multiple ServiceNow modules (ITSM, CSM, HRSD, GRC, FSO, SAM)
• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) and CMA
• Enterprise Architecture Certification

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end ServiceNow architecture, solution design, and implementation strategy; own the platform roadmap from discovery through go-live and optimization.
• Direct delivery teams on complex, multi-module implementations; ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices and platform governance.
• Engage with C-suite and IT leadership to define strategic platform vision and business outcomes; serve as trusted technical advisor on ServiceNow strategy.
• Define scalable architecture solutions for ServiceNow modules, integrations, and custom applications.
• Design platform architecture, data models, integration patterns, and data governance aligned with client requirements.
• Translate business requirements into ServiceNow solution designs and detailed user stories with IT teams.
• Ensure solution alignment with enterprise architecture and platform best practices.
• Review technical design documents and data models for quality and compliance.
• Lead scope management, risk mitigation, and escalation on complex implementations; drive accountability for schedule and outcomes.
• Coordinate with IT project managers, implementation partners, developers, and systems integrators; ensure knowledge transfer and handoffs.
• Assess existing ServiceNow instances and recommend remediation and optimization strategies.
• Participate in governance boards and strategy forums as the escalation point for technical strategy and change management.
• Develop proof-of-concept demonstrations and detailed business cases quantifying platform value.
• Coach and mentor junior architects and delivery teams on best practices and methodologies
