Job summary

Eliassen Group seeks an experienced ServiceNow Developer focused on Discovery and Integrations to support the Department of Transportation. This contract-to-hire role is fully remote and requires a US citizen or permanent resident with a Public Trust clearance.

The candidate will lead design, integration, and development within the ServiceNow ITSM suite and related systems, oriented toward SDLC and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of IT experience with admin services for a major Service Management System (preferably ServiceNow).
• Proficiency with ServiceNow Discovery and Integrations.
• Current CIS-Disco certification for Discovery.
• Extensive knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery and Integrations.
• Experience with SOAP and REST-based API integrations.
• Current CSA certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform implementation, admin, configuration, and development within ServiceNow ITSM and related areas.
• Design the DOT Service Management System and support SMS operations across the SDLC and DevOps processes.
• Determine integration methods, data directionality, and attributes for systems integration.
• Participate in data normalization prior to importing data into ServiceNow.
• Conduct platform and integration testing to ensure quality.
• Develop and maintain Discovery schedules and usage patterns; define integration roles.
• Fulfill the Enterprise Integration Manager role across projects.
• Design, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and services; deliver new functionality.
• Manage SMS development activities across the full lifecycle and apply DevOps principles.
• Respond to escalated SMS service requests and incidents; assist the platform administrator.
