Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking a ServiceNow Technical Lead for a full-time remote role, requiring residency in the United States. You will guide platform roadmap execution, set architecture standards, and mentor developers and admins.

You’ll oversee release cycles, enforce development practices, and architect end-to-end ITSM/ITOM solutions. Strong leadership and deep ServiceNow expertise are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on ServiceNow solution design, implementation, and administration with at least 2+ years leading teams.
• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Service Portal, App Engine, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Proven expertise in ITSM, CMDB/CSDM, and multiple core modules (ITOM, ITAM/HAM, CSM, etc.).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery models, ITIL v4 frameworks, and ATF testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations for a team of developers, system admins, and analysts.
• Enforce development standards, scoping, and release management to minimize debt.
• Mentor team on scripting, Flow Designer, and platform upgrades.
• Architect end-to-end solutions aligning with OOTB functionality across ITSM, ITOM, HAM/SAM, CSDM/CMDB, CSM, HRSD.
• Design integrations using Integration Hub, REST/SOAP, and Mid Servers.
• Establish CMDB hierarchy rules, data reconciliation, and Discovery schedules.
• Translate complex business needs into technical stories and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with process owners and enterprise architects to prioritize backlog and sprint work.
• Serve as escalation point for critical incidents and complex bugs.
