Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking a ServiceNow Technical Lead for a full-time remote opportunity, with candidates located in the United States. The role provides hands-on technical leadership, solution architecture guidance, and delivery oversight for the ServiceNow platform.

You will bridge business stakeholders and developers, guide platform roadmap execution, establish architecture standards, mentor staff, and manage release cycles across ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB/CSDM domains.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in ServiceNow design, implementation, and administration.
• 2+ years leading technical teams or projects.
• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs.
• Platform breadth across ITSM, CMDB/CSDM, and at least two other core modules.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, ITIL v4, and automated test frameworks (ATF).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations, task planning, code reviews, and QA for a team of developers, system administrators, and analysts.
• Enforce development standards and release management to minimize debt and customization overhead.
• Mentor team on scripting, Flow Designer, and platform upgrades.
• Architect end-to-end solutions across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB/CSDM, CSDM/CMDB and related modules.
• Design integrations using Integration Hub, REST/SOAP, and mid servers.
• Establish CMDB class hierarchy rules and data reconciliation processes.
• Translate business requirements into technical user stories, diagrams, and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with Process Owners and IT Operations to prioritize backlog and manage sprints.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for production incidents and complex bugs.
