Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a ServiceNow Solution Architect to lead design, governance, and delivery of enterprise ServiceNow solutions supporting critical operations and digital transformation. You will collaborate with stakeholders, architects, developers, and delivery teams to drive platform innovation and align with enterprise standards.

The role requires hands-on development, strong ITSM knowledge, and experience leading Agile delivery in a remote, US-based environment.

Qualifications

Extensive experience as a ServiceNow Solution Architect or equivalent.
Deep expertise in ServiceNow ITSM and related modules.
Hands-on development with Business Rules, UI Policies, Flow Designer.
Experience presenting designs to governance boards and senior stakeholders.
Strong Agile delivery and backlog management experience.
Leading distributed technical teams and mentoring ServiceNow developers.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead weekly demand backlog meetings with stakeholders to prioritize new initiatives.
Design scalable, secure ServiceNow solutions aligned with standards.
Present solution designs and architectural decisions at governance forums.
Manage change requests, deployment planning, release coordination, and production readiness.
Hands‑on ServiceNow development and configuration while mentoring the delivery team.
Drive Agile delivery activities including backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
