Job summary

Quincy Compressor LLC is seeking a Service Sales Engineer to drive growth in our service business by applying technical expertise to customer needs. You will report to the Regional Sales Manager and collaborate with engineering and service product teams to execute effective service sales strategies.

You will develop and manage a strategic territory, engage in new account development, and leverage tools like Salesforce, CPQ, and SAP to quote and track activities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in the compressed air industry or with compressed air systems.
• Bachelor's degree desirable in management, business, engineering or related technical field.
• Customer-focused with ability to understand and prioritize customer needs.
• Willingness to take risks while analyzing potential pitfalls.
• Self-motivated with strong personal drive.
• Able to handle varied workloads with assertiveness and organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strategic sales territory and new accounts in the service market.
• Proactively guide customers in designing compressed air solutions and stay current on Quincy products.
• Prospect new and drifted accounts, manage quote logs, and build relationships with key accounts.
• Audit compressed air systems, present results, and process rebates with local utilities.
• Provide training to customers and sub-distributors, and troubleshoot systems.
• Achieve sales goals across Quincy service categories including rotaries, compressors, and aftermarket services.
• Utilize Salesforce, CPQ, and SAP to gather customer data, quote, and record activities.
• Process orders with post-sale documentation and approvals; manage contracts.
• Travel daily within sales territory and domestically as needed.
