Job summary

Quincy Compressor seeks a Service Sales Engineer to drive service sales growth by applying technical knowledge and customer insight. You will report to the Regional Sales Manager and collaborate with engineering and service teams to execute effective service strategies.

Responsibilities include developing a strategic territory, pursuing new accounts, auditing systems for energy rebates, and supporting the distribution network while using Salesforce, CPQ, and SAP for quoting and order processing.

Qualifications

3+ years in the compressed air industry or with compressed air systems.
Desirable bachelor’s degree in management, business, marketing, engineering or technical field.
Customer-focused and able to prioritize customer needs.
Risk-taker with ability to analyze potential pitfalls.
Self-motivated, assertive, and organized in varied workloads.

Responsibilities

Drive sales growth for service business by leveraging technical expertise.
Develop strategic sales territory, new accounts and call plans.
Audit compressed air systems and work with utilities on rebates.
Support and grow local sub-distribution network.
Provide training to customers and troubleshoot systems.
Meet business plan sales goals in rotaries, reciprocating compressors, and aftermarket services.
Record activities in Salesforce.com, CPQ, and SAP; process orders with PO and docs.
Travel daily within territory and domestically as needed.
