Job summary

Humana, Inc. is seeking a Senior Workforce Management Professional to join the Pharmacy Process Engineering team.

The role blends advanced analytics with day-to-day workforce management to optimize staffing, learning, and compliance for Medicaid UM, while supporting enterprise planning and operational execution. You will forecast staffing needs, oversee scheduling and attendance, analyze talent metrics, and provide leadership with strategic insights.

Qualifications

• Verint knowledge
• 3+ years of Workforce Management experience
• Experience collaborating with leaders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail
• Healthcare experience (call center or back office) preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Process or Project Management experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Forecast staffing needs for Medicaid UM using real-time data, trends, and demand fluctuations.
• Oversee scheduling, timekeeping, attendance, and absence management with policy compliance.
• Assess staffing requirements and propose solutions for current and future workforce goals.
• Provide analysis of talent and staffing to support department and segment goals.
• Align workforce decisions with organizational strategy and department goals.
• Collaborate with leadership to support execution of strategic initiatives.
• Make independent decisions on work methods and resolve issues in evolving circumstances.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. federal and Puerto Rico employment laws and Humana guidelines.
• Monitor workforce metrics and adjust planning to improve performance and engagement.
