Job summary

Nationwide seeks a Sr Territory Manager in Commercial Lines Middle Market Business Development to lead and underwrite complex accounts with select agencies. The role focuses on market strategy, profitability, and strong agency relationships across the Arizona territory.

The position requires ten years in underwriting and sales, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred; CPCU/CIC designation is a plus. Heavy travel and remote readiness are part of the role, reporting to the Director of Commercial Lines

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Ten years of underwriting and sales experience in commercial lines preferred.
• CPCU or CIC designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Markets Nationwide products to drive agency and company results.
• Quotes, prices and underwrites new and renewal policies for complex accounts.
• Develops and maintains strong agency relationships and business plans.
• Drives production, profitability and service objectives across the territory.
• Manages workflow and coordinates with teams to meet SLAs.
