Job summary

Nationwide seeks a Territory Manager for the Middle Market Commercial Lines in the Arizona region. You will market, manage and underwrite commercial business through select agencies or brokers, driving profit and premium to meet financial goals.

You will develop business plans, negotiate terms, and coordinate with agency partners to expand Nationwide's presence in the territory while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• CPCU or CIC designation preferred.
• Seven years of underwriting and sales experience in commercial lines preferred.
• Knowledge of underwriting appetite and product portfolio helpful.

Responsibilities

• Monitor market conditions and research risk to win accounts.
• Analyze underwriting performance and propose action plans.
• Quote, price, and underwrite new and renewal policies for complex accounts.
• Manage workflow and coordinate with others to meet service level agreements.
• Develop business plans with agencies to drive growth and profitability.
