Job summary

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company in Arizona seeks a Senior Territory Manager for Commercial Lines Middle Market Business Development to market, manage and underwrite commercial business with select agencies. You will drive production, profitability and service, lead sales strategies, and develop detailed business plans with agency partners to grow the book of business.

Required: ten years of underwriting and sales experience in commercial lines, excellent negotiation and relationship-building

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Ten years of underwriting and sales experience in commercial lines.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of underwriting standards and pricing for commercial lines.

Responsibilities

• Markets Nationwide products to drive agency and company results.
• Markets and underwrites commercial business with select agencies or brokers.
• Develops and implements sales strategies and agency development plans.
• Leads agency visits, reviews performance and strengthens relationships.
• Drives profit, production, and customer retention across the territory.
