Job summary

Computacenter is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple medium to large-scale IT projects across the lifecycle, from initiation to closure. You will coordinate internal and external teams, manage budgets and schedules, and drive risk mitigation while ensuring client satisfaction.

The role emphasizes pre-sales and early post-sales activities within large engagements, mentoring junior PMs, and contributing to PMO standards. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in Project Management within IT.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.
• Smartsheet proficiency is a plus.
• PMP and/or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers and internal leaders to deliver services aligned with company objectives.
• Lead internal teams to contribute to PMO knowledge base and standards.
• Investigate, analyze, and remediate issues and risks in strategic accounts.
• Plan and implement projects through lifecycle from initiation to closure.
• Oversee scope, goals, and deliverables with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate project resources and manage budgets, trackers, and timelines.
• Provide status reports and escalate risks to management as needed.
• Mentor peers in leadership, methodology, and client interactions.
