Job summary

Atwell, LLC is seeking an experienced Survey Project Manager to lead a team in drafting and reviewing site plans and ALTA surveys. You will oversee survey crews, analyze data, and ensure timely delivery of construction documents using Trimble and AutoCAD tools.

Ideal candidates have a PLS/RLS license and 8+ years in the field, with strong mentoring skills and a track record of guiding staff through training and development. Hybrid/remote work arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Professional Survey License (PLS / RLS) required.
• 8+ years of survey industry experience.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and develop a growing team.
• Experience with Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.
• Strong understanding of boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, construction staking, and related real estate documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team responsible for drafting, reviewing, and finalizing site plans and construction documents.
• Review survey data using latest technology and software.
• Plan, organize, and supervise survey crews and office staff.
• Provide oversight on large-scale ALTA surveys for solar or wind projects.
• Guide junior staff on permits, cut sheets, estimates, and transmittals; manage plans and construction documents.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Participate in training, conferences, and networking events.
• Mentor staff on training plans, career development, and professional growth.
