Job summary

GovCIO seeks a Senior Subcontracts Administrator to join our Subcontracts Team. This fully remote role in the United States focuses on full life cycle subcontract management and supports the VETS sector.

Ideal candidates hold 8+ years of relevant experience (Masters welcome) with strong negotiation skills, FAR/DFARS knowledge, and Deltek CostPoint proficiency. Excellent communication and leadership capabilities are required.

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field with 8+ years of experience or a Master's with 6+ years of experience.
Experience with CPSR policies and procedures.
Experience in subcontracting, negotiations, and contractor/subcontractor performance management.
Strong knowledge of federal subcontracting and negotiation techniques.
Working knowledge of the FAR and DFARS.
Experience with proposal support activities.
Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word).
Strong business acumen, management and leadership skills.
Multi-tasking and time-management abilities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to develop internal/external relationships.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable presenting to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

Administer full life cycle subcontract management activities for programs within assigned operations.
Support the Veterans and Enterprise Technology Solutions (VETS) sector.
Develop strategy for competitions, negotiations, and managing subcontractor performance.
Ensure subcontract files are reviewed and approved per policy and contract requirements.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to resolve issues with varying complexity.
Review prime contract awards to flow down required documents and clauses.
Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to align subcontracting with prime requirements and objectives.
Monitor supplier compliance and timely delivery of deliverables.
Resolve supplier performance and quality issues with operations leadership.
Advise operations on procurement issues and strategies.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
