Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Senior/Lead Structural Engineer to join our Power team. This role can be performed remotely from anywhere in the US and focuses on leading structural design for power projects.

You will supervise engineers, review drawings and calculations, manage schedules and budgets, and coordinate with PMs, vendors, and clients. A PE license and 10+ years in structural engineering are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in structural engineering for power/utility projects.
• PE license in the US and civil/structural focus.
• Experience with high voltage substations and transmission structures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise groups of professionals on power projects.
• Coordinate with discipline leads, PMs, vendors and clients.
• Meet project timelines and document design progress.
• Prepare and verify drawings, calculations and procurement content.
• Support construction with design clarifications and field checks.
