Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to join our Power team. This role can be performed from anywhere in the United States, offering opportunities to lead projects and mentor engineers within a multidisciplinary design environment.

You will supervise project teams, prepare and review transmission line designs and deliverables, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure schedules and budgets are met.

Qualifications

• University Degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of related engineering experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of transmission lines with operating voltages not less than 115kV.
• Consulting engineering experience is an asset.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Office, and transmission line design software PLS-CADD and PLS-Pole.

Responsibilities

• Supervise groups of professionals or small teams in the Power sector to execute projects.
• Prepare and/or review engineering deliverables for transmission lines.
• Prepare and/or review material lists, construction details, drawings, and diagrams.
• Coordinate procurement activities and supplier bids.
• Mentor and provide technical support to team members.
• Liaise with discipline leads, PMs, vendors, contractors, and clients to facilitate design.
