Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of SQL Server modernization on EC2 and migration to AWS RDS or in-place upgrades.
• Assess, migrate, and maintain SSIS ETL and SSRS reports, re-platforming to AWS-native tools or upgrading on EC2.
• Drive database cost optimization and proper licensing strategies.
• Upskill the Hospice SQL DBA team on AWS database operations and cloud best practices.
• Establish cloud-native monitoring with Datadog and CloudWatch and implement automated backup/DR.
