Job summary

Skydio, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Solutions Engineering for SLED Majors East. This remote, full-time role leads a team delivering complex multi-site drone deployments for state and local needs across the East region.

The position partners with Sales, Product, and Engineering to drive technical wins, with travel about 30% to support engagements and deployments. A strong customer-facing background is essential for success.

Qualifications

5+ years of relevant technical experience in a customer-facing role (solutions engineering, field engineering, or applications engineering).
1+ years leading a technical team, with hiring/mentorship responsibility.
Strong understanding of drone technology, Public Safety sUAS operations, and regulatory compliance.
Working knowledge of CAD, VMS, and related software platforms, and ability to lead integration discussions.
Track record of hiring, onboarding, and developing technical staff, and keeping them.

Responsibilities

Lead the team across territories with ownership and coaching.
Drive technical wins across the East Majors portfolio and field deployments.
Own site assessments and proofs of concept tied to active opportunities.
Represent customer needs to Product and Engineering with prioritized requirements.
Build enablement content and reusable technical assets for scale.
