Job summary

Skydio, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Solutions Engineer to bridge technology, customer success, and revenue growth for a wide range of industries across the United States. This remote role requires 50% to 75% travel to support customer engagements, field activities, deployments, and events.

You will partner with Account Executives to design solutions, run proofs of concept, and guide onboarding, implementation, and expansion, becoming the voice of the customer inside Skydio.

Qualifications

• Experience with unmanned aircraft operation, design, development, or regulatory environments.
• Strong communication skills to engage with pilots and executives.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives through the full sales cycle: discovery, design, demonstrations, and narrative.
• Translate complex use cases into scalable deployment practices for field teams.
• Run proofs of concept tied to active opportunities with measurable value.
• Guide integration and airspace strategy, including REST APIs, data environments, and BVLOS considerations.
• Support onboarding, implementation, and expansion with reusable technical assets.
• Provide field feedback to Product and Engineering as prioritized requirements.
