Skydio, Inc. seeks a Senior Manager, Solutions Engineering for SLED Small Cities. This remote, full-time role requires travel ~30% to support engagements.

Lead a high-volume motion with one SE to two Key Account Leaders, ensuring demos, site assessments, and Proofs of Concept drive orders and expansion. You will build the team, own capacity, and align technical resources with sales, delivering field-powered program designs and scalable assets while maintaining regulatory compliance in drone

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant technical experience in a customer-facing role
• 1+ years leading a technical team or as a technical lead with hiring responsibility
• Strong understanding of drone technology, Public Safety sUAS operations, and regulatory compliance
• Working knowledge of CAD and VMS or related software platforms
• Comfort operating inside a Sales organization with quota ownership and resource prioritization

Responsibilities

• Hire, onboard, coach, and retain the team with clear ownership across territories
• Lead demonstrations, site assessments, and customer-facing documentation for executive reviews
• Own capacity and allocate Solutions Engineering time across the segment
• Drive technical wins and serve as senior escalation point on critical pursuits
• Represent customer needs to Product and Engineering and build scalable enablement assets
• Stand up the Small Cities team model and maintain high site assessment quality
