Job summary

Akoya seeks a Solution Architect to serve as the technical bridge between our network and customers building on it. You will engage from pre‑sales conversations through implementation, go‑live, and ongoing support, collaborating with customer engineering teams to scope integrations, configure authentication, and troubleshoot API issues.

You will own onboarding from contract to go‑live, configure delegated authorization and SSO, debug REST/JSON APIs, and produce guides and runbooks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 10+ years in a client-facing role.
• 4-6 years hands-on technical/design experience.
• Deep knowledge of RESTful JSON APIs, including design, test, and troubleshoot.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical resource for prospective and new Akoya customers throughout the sales cycle.
• Deliver technical demos and proofs-of-concept tailored to use cases and existing stacks.
• Gather, document, and assess integration requirements directly with customer engineering teams.
• Build sample code, Postman collections, or lightweight prototypes to validate feasibility.
• Recommend the right solution architecture and raise flags when approaches won't work.
• Own the technical onboarding from contract to go-live.
• Configure and troubleshoot OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and SSO with customer teams.
• Debug REST/JSON API integration issues using Postman, curl, and dev tools.
• Write and maintain integration guides, runbooks, and docs for customers and internal teams.
• Run joint testing sessions with customer tech teams through go-live.
• Handle escalated technical issues with root-cause analysis across API, network, and auth layers.
• Advocate for customers internally, relay feedback to Product/Engineering.
• Partner with Product to improve deployment, docs, and self-serve tooling.
• Build internal tools and sample integrations to speed onboarding.
• Build trusted relationships with customer engineering leads and executives.
• Present technical concepts to developers and executives.
• Travel occasionally to customer sites, conferences, or partner meetings.
