Job summary

Smart Tech Skills LLC is seeking a Solutions Architect to translate complex business requirements into scalable, custom-architected solutions for enterprise customers and partners. You will serve as the technical SME for API integrations, data migrations, and backend development, leveraging Ruby on Rails and modern web technologies to extend platform capabilities across various industries.

You will lead design workshops, assess feasibility and effort estimates, and guide architecture governance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years hands-on enterprise SaaS configuration, customization, architecture, and implementation.
• Strong backend development with Ruby on Rails for web apps and API integrations.
• Experience with modern languages/frameworks (Ruby on Rails, Python, JavaScript, Node.js, Java, or .NET).
• Understanding of systems architecture, OOD, DB schema, large data volumes.
• Experience integrating SaaS platforms via RESTful APIs, webhooks, and ETL tools.
• Familiarity with SAML, SSO, and OAuth.
• Knowledge of SDLC, version control, release management, deployment methods.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy custom software integrations and web apps using Ruby on Rails and REST APIs.
• Architect scalable data integration pipelines connecting SaaS platforms with external systems.
• Manage delivery of custom code development, system integrations, and data migrations.
• Lead technical design workshops with client stakeholders to define requirements and delivery milestones.
• Identify gaps between current and future state architectures and document specifications.
• Provide feasibility assessments and effort estimations for presales and scoping.
• Review and govern architectures and customized code across the services team.
• Be SME on product capabilities, REST API extensibility, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Design reusable templates and integration tools and share best practices.
