Job summary

Workiva Inc. is seeking a Senior Solution Consultant to drive pre-sales engagement, showcasing our SaaS platform to prospects and customers. You’ll connect customer outcomes to platform capabilities, guide technical validation, and deliver value-based demonstrations.

You’ll collaborate with Sales, Product Marketing and Client Services to develop account plans, create proofs of concept, and articulate how Workiva solutions meet enterprise needs, with up to 40% travel.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 6 years of related experience.
• Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of knowledge and related career experience.
• Experience presenting to executives at large enterprise customers is preferred.
• Financial reporting knowledge is valuable for this role.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with SaaS, cloud technologies and architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales activities: engage customers, run discovery, and deliver product demonstrations.
• Demonstrate Workiva’s domain expertise across Financial Reporting, GRC, and Sustainability Reporting.
• Assist sales in developing account plans aligned with Workiva strategies.
• Conduct process assessments, build PoCs, and present business cases.
• Ensure customer success with implementation partners and Client Services.
• Develop new use-cases or adapt templates to prove value proposition.
• May deliver cross-domain coaching, training, or mentoring peers.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Marketing, Client Services, Scoping, and Customer Success.
